TELEHEALTH & VIDEO VISITS

ABQ Integrative Family Medicine now offers Video Telehealth Visits. Due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic, previous restriction on Video Visits and Telehealth have been relaxed so you can become a patient through a video visit, this is mandatory for any non-urgent visits that do not require a physical examination.  If the medical issue requires an in person visit, our office is low volume and in an intimate setting that avoids the waiting room. We use appropriate precautions to make sure your visit is safe and comfortable.

We use an encrypted platform, called Updox, that meets Federal rules for patient privacy. The most common browser to use is Google Chrome and we can connect to your smartphone, tablet, or computer via a link through text or email. You do need to have a microphone and camera on your device. However a video visit is not a substitute for a physical examination, or instances that may require stitches or a hands on exam for joint problems or for minor office procedures.

TAT: Tapas Acupressure Technique

Tapas Acupressure Technique TAT or Tapas Acupressure Technique was developed in 1993 by Tapas Fleming, an Acupuncturist in California and is a assisted psychological healing process. Whilst doing allergy work she came up with a wonderful new way to help her patients end allergic reactions and traumatic stress.  It is a complementary healing program designed to release emotional and negative energy blockages that compromise our psychological and physiological well-being.  This simple process can effortlessly dissolve past traumas, clear negative beliefs, or end critical voices. The TAT process uplifts your entire system-physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
