Primary Care Doctor – Caring For The Whole Family

Dr. Cindy Griebler has worked as a family practice physician in outpatient, hospital, skilled nursing and virtual settings since completing medical school in 1999. She loves family medicine because it gives her a chance to really get to know her patients and their extended families. As a Western-trained physician, Dr. Griebler understands the importance of Western medicine, while also embracing a holistic philosophy of wellness. She is trained in acupuncture and osteopathic manipulation in addition to her M.D. and enjoys helping her patients engage in the process of wellness. Dr. Griebler’s experience with different philosophies of medicine gives her a wide variety of tools and techniques to best treat her patients.

DR. GRIEBLER’S BACKGROUND

EDUCATION

Dr. Griebler graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine. Her academic career includes a B.S in Biology from American University, and an M.S. in Physiology from Georgetown. During her Family Practice residency in Chicago, IL, she studied osteopathic manipulation in addition to family medicine. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine. Dr. Griebler became certified in Acupuncture through New York Medical College and has trained in Acudetox and Neuroacupuncture, as well as mindfulness-based stress reduction.

PERSONAL

Dr. Griebler was raised in Baltimore, MD, and lived for many years in and around Washington, DC, as well as stints in Houston and Chicago. She moved from Alexandria, VA, to Albuquerque, NM, in 2005 with her husband and two daughters. Her interests include a passion for travel, yoga, hiking, cooking, ceramics, and spending time with her friends and family.
